I am a proponent of this theory. I believe that such a celestial body was a huge comet, the core of which was the Moon. The comet struck the Earth in pursuit, a rough ricochet, resulting in lost speed and became earth's satellite. A huge amount of matter was really thrown into space, but the water brought by the comet, for the most part was on our planet. Therefore, there is such a huge amount of water on the Earth.
I Assume That before the moon hit the earth orbit passed closer to the Sun. Our planet has received much more solar heat, but it didn't burn out the earth. At that time, the planet was protected from hot sun rays by water vapor, a thick layer enveloping the entire Earth. The concentration of moisture was so high that the night fell copious dew. All grew “ water ”. All land, including Antarctica, was covered with lush vegetation. Therefore, coal was found in Antarctica.
